ACI Connetic Adds Financial Messaging for Bank Payments

ACI Connetic Adds Financial Messaging for Bank Payments

ACI Worldwide has added a cloud-native financial messaging capability to its ACI Connetic platform.

The Nasdaq-listed payments firm said the update helps banks simplify their infrastructure.

It also helps them scale real-time processing across domestic and cross-border networks.

The new capability standardises and enriches payment data in real time across account-to-account (A2A) rails.

This gives banks better data for their payments operations and analytics.

It also lets banks translate, validate and route messages between legacy systems and newer infrastructure. That helps them manage complex ISO 20022 requirements.

The technology sits within ACI Connetic and lets banks separate messaging from core payment processing.

Banks can then run messaging as one centralised function across the enterprise.

ACI says this can cut operational friction, improve resilience and give banks real-time visibility across payment flows.

“Built into ACI Connetic, our advanced financial messaging capabilities provide banks with a single, intelligent foundation to manage messages across rails and formats,”

said Craig Ramsey, Global Head of Account-to-Account Payments at ACI Worldwide.

“The result is an AI-ready payments foundation that enables banks to move faster, operate smarter and deliver the next generation of payment experiences,”

said Thomas Warsop, President and CEO of ACI Worldwide.

The expansion follows a year of growth for ACI Connetic. Earlier this year, ACI made the platform available across eight major US payment networks.

Banks in the UK and Europe are also adopting it to unify payment processing across schemes.
