3 Fintechs Make the TOP 100 Swiss Startup 2026 Ranking
3 fintechs made it to this year’s TOP 100 Swiss Startup list, an award organised by Venturelab.
The 2026 edition of the ranking includes three fintech companies, a more selective representation for the sector than in previous years.
Several familiar names return to the list in 2026, with this year’s fintechs spanning employee insurance, carbon credit risk and AI-driven asset management.
Of the 3 fintechs, 2 were repeats from the 2024 ranking and 1 was a repeat from the 2025 ranking.
While fintech remains a key part of Switzerland’s startup landscape, its presence in this year’s list is notably leaner.
Meet the 3 Swiss fintechs that made the TOP 100 Swiss Startup 2026 list:
1. Grape Insurance (#14) +21 from 2024
Grape Insurance is a Zurich-based insurtech. Founded in 2021, the company holds an insurance licence as a managing general agent (MGA). It provides digital employee insurance, covering sick leave, accident and pension products.
2. CarbonPool Holding (#60) -25 from 2025
CarbonPool Holding is a Zurich-based insurer. It covers shortfalls and reversals in carbon credits. Claims are paid out in carbon credits, not cash, a structure meant to guarantee the volumes companies have purchased.
3. Aisot Technologies (#69) -9 from 2024

Aisot Technologies was founded in 2021 by a team from ETH Zurich, a Swiss technical university. Its platform combines quantitative finance, machine learning and news-sentiment analysis to help institutional investors adjust portfolios as markets change.
