CRX Trade Connects Crypto Exchanges and Wall Street in One Account
CRX Trade, a prime broker based in Zug, has launched a platform for firms that trade both crypto and US markets.
Clients can post bitcoin, stablecoins or tokenised gold as one pool of collateral. They can then use it across ten venues.
RAS Capital, a member of the Swiss self-regulatory body VQF, runs the platform. The technology comes from trading software firm CoinRoutes.
A fund that holds bitcoin on a crypto exchange often cannot use it efficiently as collateral at a traditional broker.
As a result, firms keep deposits on many venues. They also use different providers for trading, custody and risk reports.
The account covers eight crypto venues, such as Binance, Bybit, Gate and Hyperliquid. It also links to CME Group and Nasdaq.
This means a fund can trade oil, gold or stock perpetual futures against their tokenised twins.
Whether the trade runs on one exchange or several, it goes in as one order and shows as one position.
Each client has its own isolated wallet and address. Trading rights are kept apart from withdrawal rights.
Clients also get CoinRoutes trading tools with no extra software licence.

“Professional investors increasingly see digital assets and traditional securities as one opportunity set, but the infrastructure has not kept pace.
CRX Trade closes that gap by giving institutions broader market access, coordinated collateral and a single framework through which to manage their positions,”
said Eamon Comerford, Managing Director of RAS Capital.

“Equity funds have long had a single prime relationship that handles all of that. CRX Trade brings that model to digital assets, and we’re proud to see our technology at the centre of it,”
said Ian Weisberger, CEO of CoinRoutes.
Only professional and institutional clients can use the service.
