Expensify Launches Corporate Card for UK and European Businesses

Expensify has launched its corporate card in the UK and select European markets.

The rollout gives businesses in the UK, Spain, Ireland, Poland, and the Netherlands access to the company’s integrated spend management platform for day-to-day corporate expenses.

According to the company, the card connects directly to the Expensify platform to automate expense tracking, reducing the need for manual expense reporting and reconciliation processes.

The system uses AI to categorise transactions and match receipts in real time.

“The Expensify Card works quietly in the background to keep your business spend controlled, compliant, and ready for accounting,”

said David Barrett, Founder and CEO of Expensify.

“It is a preaccounting assistant that eliminates hours of reconciling transactions, chasing receipts, and reimbursing employees.”

The card provides spending controls that can block certain non-compliant purchases in real time and flag out-of-policy transactions for review.

It also features virtual cards designed for one-off payments, software subscriptions, or project-based spending by contractors.

To support regional compliance, the platform includes automated VAT tracking and enhanced statement reporting for European businesses.

Companies can settle balances daily or monthly through connected GBP, EUR, or US dollar business bank accounts without requiring minimum deposits, personal guarantees, or credit checks.

The system integrates directly with major accounting platforms including QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, and Sage Intacct to accelerate the reconciliation process.

The European launch is part of a wider international expansion for the expense management firm. Through its Bring Your Own Cards programme, the company also supports corporate cards issued by more than 10,000 banks globally.
