Kaiko Raises Series B to US$110 Million as S&P Global Leads Round
S&P Global led a strategic investment in Kaiko, extending the crypto market data provider’s Series B funding to US$110 million.
The round includes banks, exchanges and trading firms backing infrastructure for tokenised markets that run around the clock.
BNP Paribas, Bpifrance, Broadridge, Canton Foundation and Coinbase Ventures joined S&P Global in the round.
DRW Venture Capital, Nasdaq Ventures, Royal Bank of Canada, Stellar and Susquehanna Private Equity Investments also took part.
Existing shareholders Anthemis, Point Nine and Revaia backed the extension too.
Participating institutions have joined a Kaiko-chaired industry working group. The group focuses on data and infrastructure for tokenised products.
Kaiko’s core business supplies market data for digital assets to institutions. A newer offering extends that work into onchain capital markets.
It delivers market data to smart contracts. It also turns onchain activity into standard off-chain data.
Kaiko views its expansion into tokenised Treasury bills, money market funds, equities and bonds as an extension of its existing business.

“They are backing both the company Kaiko has built, a regulated institutional-grade data provider covering over 150 exchanges and protocols,
and our vision to provide the data infrastructure layer for onchain capital markets,”
said Ambre Soubiran, CEO of Kaiko.

“As digital assets accelerate, S&P Global is investing for the future, and this investment underscores that conviction,”
said Cathy Clay, CEO of S&P Dow Jones Indices.
