NatWest Appoints Former Deutsche Bank Executive Triona O’Keeffe as Data Chief
NatWest Group has appointed Triona O’Keeffe as its new Chief Data and Analytics Officer as the bank brings its data, AI and engineering capabilities closer together to accelerate the delivery of digital products and features.
O’Keeffe will join NatWest in January 2027, reporting to Group Chief Information Officer Scott Marcar.
She joins from the LSEG, where she currently serves as Chief Information Officer for Data and Analytics.
Her previous experience includes Chief Information Officer roles at Direct Line Group and senior leadership positions at Deutsche Bank.
In her new role, O’Keeffe will lead an expanded data and engineering function.
NatWest said combining engineering with data and AI will create clearer accountability across the bank, helping teams move more quickly from insights to product delivery.
The restructuring will enable NatWest to deliver more personalised services, better customer support and stronger customer relationships.

“I’m excited to join NatWest at such a pivotal time and help unlock the full potential of data, AI and engineering for customers,”
O’Keeffe said.
